Lily Wong’s essay, “Eating the Hyphen,” has been chosen for the soon to be released book, Best Food Writing 2013, edited by Holly Hughes. The essay was originally published in Gastronomica Magazine in 2012. She completed her thesis entitled, Remembering the Nanjing Massacre: Transnationalism and Atrocity, in that same year under the direction of Alexandra Garbarini (with Scott Wong and Anne Reinhardt).
