Tenure-Track Position in Medieval European History

The Department of History at Williams College seeks to make an appointment at the rank of assistant professor (tenure-track) in the history of the medieval world, beginning in the Fall of 2012. Ph.D. in hand or expected by September 2012. Candidates would be expected to offer courses that engage with the corpus of medieval European history. Ideally, they would also be able to offer courses that consider the medieval world beyond the European continent and/or bring the history of the Middle Ages into the early modern period.
